You quote the RS Sku# as 276-143 as a 940nm, 100mA IR LED.  The website part description shows the current as 29mA.  Are they the same part?  Do we design for 100mA through the LEDs given they are rated at 29mA?

I checked with Radio Shack and their on-line description is incorrect.  The beacons have been tested at 100ma.
