Dear IEEE guys,
This is an announcement for UAH's Cubesat Project.
What is Cubesat?
Cubesat is a 10x10x10cm Cubic "Real" Satellite.
Some Cubesat families have already launched in these 5 years.
UAH Space Hardware Club, Alabama Space Grant Consortium, and some researchers in VBRH have a plan to apply for National Science Foundation's Cubesat Grant.
Dr. Gregory, the director of Alabama Space Grant, wanted to get contact from individuals who's interested in.
Please send him an email at gregoryj@email.uah.edu so that he can keep you in a loop.
Thank you.

Club members and all interested:
We are looking at a candidate Cubesat that could be worked
up into a proposal for submission to NSF in February. We know that
these proposals need to be very detailed with all of the Phase A
studies essentially complete and some detailed design started on
some of the systems.
The purpose of this request today, is to get a list of those who
would want to work on this project and what skills they have to offer
for the project. For some it may be just enthusiasm and a willingness
to learn and do work. feel free to pass this to others. We need to
get more EE's involved, especially, but other skills will be needed,
too.
Please send me an email stating your interest. We plan to have a
meeting in about 10 days. |
