Thank you to everyone who helped make Southeastcon '08 a success!

Southeastcon '08 was a huge success. The student programs were exciting and showed a great deal of inovation from the participating teams. The UAH student chapter showed itself to be  a professional and well knit community that  handled themselves well over a weekend of minimal sleep and other factors not directly under control of the club. The convention would not have been the sucecss that it was without the hardwork of the UAH student branch and the other volunteers.

We've elected new officers for the 2008-2009 school year.  They will continue the traditions of the Charger IEEE.  The new officers are: 

Over the last year we have Participated in a variety of events. We held a fundraiser with the Big Spring Jam in downtown Huntsville, AL, which not only brought in funds for the club but also allowed us to enjoy several of our favorite bands. This is an event we hope to participate in every fall. We have also been an integral part of the planning of Southeastcon '08. We have provided not only physical support (building courses and rounding up volunteers) but also technical support (testing the software competition suite). Over the past year we have increased our membership 75% and we are still growing.
