Why should I join?

Our student members are highly desirable in the job market. They graduate as experienced engineers that have accomplished practical projects, competed in conference competitions, and have networked with local engineers. Aside from those technical things, IEEE is a great way to meet and make friends with other engineering students like you! We provide a great environment for you to grow as a student and future engineer in the workplace.

How much does it cost to join?

It is free to be a member of the UAH chapter of IEEE. Yearly dues for the national branch are $32, however through the school we have been granted a certain amount of peoples dues to be paid.

What does IEEE do?

We are a student based organization and are free to do whatever the chapter is interested in doing each year. Robotics, hardware, and software competitions are fun, but the options are limitless. Our goal is to inspire the present as well as future engineers!
